Great 3 Star Hotel

We first stayed in this hotel in 1989 and have been back several times since. We have enjoyed all out visits and have booked again straight after Christmas this year. It has been refurbished in the last couple of years and has a contemporary style to match the great ambiance. Within a few minutes walk of the Seine and Notre Dame, the location is certainly one of its strong points. Whilst the rooms are small, the staff are very friendly and breakfast good by European hotel standards. It just has a great `feel’ that really adds to your experience of being in the heart of Paris. Around the corner is the famous Eric Kayser bakery where you can get some of their famous french bread in morning as you head off to start your day. Next door to the bakery is a lovely small take-away food shop. A good alternative to breakfast in the hotel sometimes. There are some interesting wine bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding streets that all add to the experience. It’s certainly worth a visit!
